Roamblr Safaris works with international tour operators and travel agencies as their Uganda execution arm. Your brand stays front and centre. We handle the ground. Your clients come home delighted.
Every item on this list came from conversations with agencies about what they have experienced with Uganda ground handlers in the past.
Your client is waiting. The other Uganda operator takes three days to respond. You lose the booking.
Roamblr guarantees a detailed quote within 24 hours on all standard itineraries. No exceptions.
Your client is in Uganda. You are in London. You hear nothing until they are back home β or until something goes wrong.
You receive a WhatsApp update every morning of every active trip. Three sentences. Everything is fine, or the problem is being solved.
Gorilla permits booked through a third-party middleman. Wrong dates. Wrong names. Delays that leave your client without a permit on trek day.
Roamblr holds a direct UWA operator account. We book permits ourselves, immediately on receiving deposit. No middlemen. No delays.
Invoices arrive without your booking reference, without a TIN, in the wrong currency, three days late. Your accounts department rejects them.
Every Roamblr invoice references your booking number, includes our TIN, is in your agreed currency, and arrives within 48 hours of trip completion.
Your Uganda ground handler is fully booked in July. You have a client. They tell you three weeks before departure. You are left scrambling.
We tell you honestly when we are at capacity. We also maintain a bench of trusted backup suppliers so we can always deliver even in peak season.
A client wants specialist birding. A documentary crew needs filming permits. A diaspora group wants a roots tourism itinerary. The standard operator says no.
We maintain specialist birding guides, filming permit contacts, and community tourism relationships for exactly these requests. We say yes.
Email or WhatsApp us with your client's dates, group size, preferences, and accommodation level. That is all we need to start building the quote.
A complete itinerary with day-by-day detail, lodge options at three price levels, a clear inclusions list, and your net rate. Ready for you to mark up and present to your client.
We issue a deposit invoice. On receipt, we book all permits, lodge reservations, and transport within 24 hours. You receive booking confirmations for every element.
Your client arrives. Your driver-guide collects them. Every morning we send you a three-sentence WhatsApp update. If anything goes wrong, you hear from us immediately β not from your angry client.
Trip completes. We send you a completion confirmation and the 70% balance invoice within 48 hours. Your client reviews the experience. You get the credit. We book the next one.

"The level of communication during the trip β daily updates, proactive problem-solving β was unlike anything we experienced with a Uganda ground handler before. We now send all our Uganda clients to Roamblr."
Your agency remains liable to the end client for the full travel experience β this is the standard arrangement in the industry. Roamblr Safaris is liable to your agency for our delivery of the ground services we have confirmed. We carry liability insurance and operate under UTB licensing. We recommend all clients carry comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation.
We accept international bank transfer (SWIFT), Wise transfer (preferred β lower fees for you), and for larger agencies in established relationships, we can discuss net-30 payment terms after three completed bookings. We do not accept credit cards directly but can discuss arrangements via payment platforms if needed.
We contact you immediately β before the client has a chance to. We maintain backup suppliers in every park area for vehicle breakdowns, lodge overbooking situations, and similar. In our experience, every problem that arises has a solution if you move fast enough. We move fast. You will hear about the solution at the same time you hear about the problem.
Yes β by appointment in Kampala. We operate as a lean ground handling business and do not maintain a walk-in retail office, but we are always available to meet partners visiting Uganda in person. If you are attending POATE or other Uganda tourism events, we make a point of attending and would be glad to meet there.
Yes. We have agent relationships with Uganda's premium lodge properties β Clouds Lodge, Gorilla Forest Camp, Baker's Lodge, Kyambura Gorge Lodge, and others. For luxury clients, the logistics are the same as mid-range β the difference is in the accommodation selection. Our net rate sheet includes luxury accommodation options for all itineraries.
Uganda gorilla permits cost $800 per person (foreign non-resident) β less than half Rwanda's $1,500 β and approximately 150 permits are available daily across Bwindi's four sectors and Mgahinga. Peak season (JuneβAugust and DecemberβJanuary) permits sell out weeks to months in advance. We recommend booking permits a minimum of 3β6 months ahead for peak season travel. We can check real-time availability for any dates you are enquiring about.
We respond to every trade enquiry personally within 24 hours. Tell us what Uganda looks like for your agency and we will show you exactly how Roamblr can serve your clients.
